Dr. Matthias Häberle

Dr. Matthias Haeberle studied Business Administration at the universities of Tuebingen and Goettingen, Germany. After his graduation in 1994, he became controller of WISSTRANS Umwelt GmbH, a Goettingen based company managing environmental rehabilitation projects all over Germany.

Postdoctoral in 1997, he joined the financial department of VBH Holding AG, Stuttgart, an international trading group listed at the Frankfurt and Stuttgart stock exchanges. 2001 he was appointed Deputy Vice President of VBH Holding AG.

2002 through 2006 he was Controller and Deputy Vice President of  Gesellschaft fuer Entwicklung, Beschaffung und Betrieb mbH (g.e.b.b.), a company of the German Ministry of Defence with the task to reorganise and privatise civilian services for the German armed forces.

Additionally from 2002 through 2006 Dr. Haeberle was member of the Executive Board of Directors of Bw Fuhrparkservice GmbH (BwFPS), a subsidiary of g.e.b.b. providing mobility service to the German and NATO armed forces as well as to civil organisations by managing a fleet of
22 800 vehicles with 2 400 employees in 120 locations.

Dr. Haeberle joined the ALD’s Board of Directors as per June 1, 2006 in the position as Chief Finance Officer CFO. Since July 2007 Dr. Häberle is also responsible  the production company ALD Industrie- und Montagepark Staaken GmbH in Berlin. Both are member of the AMG Advanced Materials Group N.V., Amsterdam.
