Richard Seemann

Graduate Engineer. Having completed his training as machine tool fitter and technician, he obtained a degree in mechanical engineering. Subsequently, he worked at Degussa AG in Hanau/Wolfgang on the development of processes and specialised plants until 1987.

He then assumed world-wide responsibility for the technical co-ordination with joint ventures and licence partners. Since 1989, Richard Seemann has worked in the area of heat treatment at ALD Vacuum Technologies AG (formerly GmbH), initially as a Sales Engineer (one year), then as a Sales Group Manager (seven years) and Product Manager (one year).


He has been head of the vacuum heat treatment business since the beginning of 1998. In June 1999, he was appointed Deputy Member of the Board of Directors of ALD Vacuum Technologies AG. Since March 2001 Richard Seemann is Full member of the Board of Directors.
